We decided to celebrate our anniversary by getting out and enjoying as many things about where we live as possible. We started the day at Polly's Pancake Parlor where they have possibly the best pancakes ever. It is 100 miles from home so the pancakes better be worth it...they are! Today, of course, was Matty's first trip to Pollys and he enjoyed every minute of it. Here's a picture of Matty riding Trot Trot (With Andrew's help).

Next, we headed to The Flume...a nice 2 mile hike through the woods and a hands on viewing of the largest gorge in NH. It was such a perfect day for a hike and Matty enjoyed his ride in the Moby Wrap. We are looking forward to more hikes in the future with our little guy!

We then headed for Kittery Maine to Chauncey Creek Pier for lobster. I decided to skip the actual lobster so that I wouldn't get lobster guts and goo all over Matty if he needed something so I got the lobster roll instead. Andrew, however, got the full lobster and even shared in with Matty.

The best part of our day was when we got home and were relaxing on the couch with Matty. He started to smile and giggle like we have never seen before and was entertaining us for several minutes...Andrew was able to catch this quick picture...he just melts our hearts!

Now it's time to end the day with a piece of our wedding cake that has been in the freezer for a year! We'll see how the carrot cake held up!
