12 days and counting!!!

Wow...I can't believe my due date is only 12 days away! Luckily we are feeling ready and prepared. There is only a few minor things we still want to do before the big day arrives, besides sleep as much as possible! We still have a few more decorations to put up in he nursery but here are some updated pictures now that the room is filling up with more stuff!





The wonderful ladies I work with threw me a baby shower at work a few weeks back and we got lots of great stuff...and people have been so generous with gifts! Sweet Cousin Daniel and Sweet Cousin Audrey (The Verosmans) came to visit last week (and drove through a freak snow storm to do so!) and brought with them a fabulous DiaperCake! It's too pretty to take apart and use! Luckily the diapers are a bigger size so we can continue to admire the diaper cake before we need to use the diapers.


12 more days...here's to hoping they go by quick...we are anxious to meet baby donovan!!!

Baby Class

Last night Denise and I went to baby class. This was is entitled "your baby-the first few days" or something like that... It was somewhat informative, although sitting in a class for two hours on a friday night is not the most ideal situation. Each couple was given a doll and we were able to practice giving the doll sponge baths and changing the diaper....

I think Denise is relieved that at least I won't do something like this now....

Happy Birthday to....

OUR BLOG!!!

Yes, we started our blog a year ago today...sorta as a joke. We were out to dinner celebrating our 3 year anniversary of our first date (which makes today our 4th anniversary! We are heading out to dinner to celebrate a little later)and we were joking around about starting a blog...a few hours later Andrew figured out how to do it and our blog was born. Little did we think that we would still be blogging a year later! Here's to many more interesting tidbits from our somewhat boring lives in the granite state!

Baby Donovan's Nursery

Here's a few pictures of the nursery, almost done. We still need to decorate and put some stuff up on the walls but the painting and furniture are done! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Bergang for the beautiful crib and dressers and thanks to Grammy and Gramps Foster for the softest, most comfortable chair and ottoman ever!!!!
