We are all packed and ready to go! Time now to try to get some sleep before the alarm goes off at 2:30am so we can catch the Flightline van to Logan for our 6:30 flight. If all goes well, we should be arriving on the St John dock around 3pm and should see this:
We will do our best to possibly post some pictures or quick updates about the upcoming nuptials...stay tuned!
Our somewhat boring lives in the Granite state have become way more interesting....Matty's taking over the blog!

"for the bride and groom..."
As the big day keeps getting closer and closer and we have gotten busier and busier getting everything ready I completly forgot to blog about the fantastic bridal shower that my friends from work threw for me. It was extremly generous and a lot of fun...they even wanted Andrew to come along so they could meet this crazy person I have been talking about for the past years. Here are some pictures from the fun event:
A thought to ponder....
Is this over the top and unnneccesary or are they onto something...
I guess it is sad that many American adults can't find their own country on a map.
I think they should at least know that.
but is what this cute little girl doing cute or just plain rediculous.
I don't know...
I think its kind of amazing.
watch for yourself.

Is that Kool Aid???
Nope..3 different types of iced tea. I have been a little obsessed with tea lately (must run in the family) and currently have have 3 teas in the fridge to choose from. The first is from a mix, Arizona Pomegranate Green Tea...which sounds like it would be really good for you, however it has some ingredients that I can't pronounce plus artificial sweetener and I prefer tea unsweetened. I actually own (and use!) a Iced Tea maker by Mr Coffee and the other two I brewed at home. Last summer I found a Pomegranate White Tea from Trader Joe's which is great. It has some caffeine in it which makes it perfect for the morning. It also claims to be an "antioxidant powerhouse"...sounds good to me. The last one is my favorite. My standard order at Starbucks lately (when I am not in the mood for coffee) is unsweetened passion iced tea and the other day I found that you can buy the Tazo Passion tea they use at Starbucks. For 3 bucks I can probably make the equivalent of 40 "venti" teas from Starbucks! I think I am going to be saving about 75 bucks...more money to spend in the islands!

However the highlight of the day was the yellow school bus cake that Jon made...

Check out their dog Abby driving the bues and the awesome sesame street characters in back!!!

2 things we learned...
Our Friday outing to Boston taught us 2 lessons:
1. We are getting too damn old to be seeing concerts in bars that don't start until 11pm and finish at 1:30am
2. In Boston, if the sign says "Parking 1 hour or you will be towed"...you will be towed. Nothing like finding an ATM, catching a cab and finding the lot that the car was impounded in at 2am...
All in all, it was a fun day....
